Everyone knows that a magnet attracts iron when it sees iron, but it repels steel. We just use this physical property to distinguish the authenticity of stainless steel plates. There are many types of stainless steel plate materials, but they are divided into austenite type and martensite or ferrite type according to the organizational structure. The austenitic type of 310S stainless steel plate is non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, and the martensitic or ferritic type is magnetic. However, that doesn't have to be the case. For example, the raw material of austenitic 304 stainless steel plate, which is usually used as decorative tube sheet, is generally non-magnetic, but some may also appear magnetic due to different processing conditions, which cannot be considered as counterfeit or unqualified.

         2. When selecting stainless steel plates, it is necessary to judge whether the raw materials are qualified. Take 304 stainless steel plates as an example:

1). From the quotation analysis, if the 304 raw material stainless steel plate is even lower than the general quotation of the 301 raw material in the market, it must be carefully distinguished, it is likely to be faked by other raw materials;

2). Identify whether the material "304" is stamped on the surface of the board, and ask for the manufacturer's quality certificate as a proof;

3). It can be tested with an acid reagent. After 30 seconds, the raw material 304 does not change color, and 201 turns black;

4). For mass purchases, samples can be taken and sent to the national authoritative testing center for component testing.

         3. When purchasing, you should choose stainless steel plates that have been identified as excellent grades by quality technology. Having long-term use testimony and good reputation among customers is the most direct and effective way to purchase.
